Currently working at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond
with their Advanced Technology Group - Web Systems team.
Initially this was supposed to be for absolutely no longer than three months
but I have now been there for nine months and counting (guess I'm popular ;>)
so I am looking for a position with an easier commute since I average six hours
a day just commuting to/from Redmond by car.
Downtown Seattle would be ideal for me as I can go as a foot passenger on a
ferry with an under 40 minute commute each way. I'm also open to the greater
Seattle area if reasonable part-time telecommuting is an option.

Permanent position or long-term contract.
Lead Engineer, Project Manager, Team Lead, Senior Developer.
Downtown Seattle or Kitsap County only unless telecommuting.

Yes, I am a permanent resident/green card holder and
do not require sponsorship or a visa to work in the U.S.
Where else can you work?
I am also a British citizen and can work in the UK and
the EU (Europe) without needing any a work permit.
Overseas trips are ok but I am not willing to move.
Do you work through a corporation?
Yes. You can keep 100% of the difference between my corporation's rate
and the rate you charge your client without having to worry about employee
contributions for me or getting caught up in workers compensation.
Alternatively, I am happy to work on a W2 basis as your employee
if you are an established business with a good credit rating.
Does the corporation have liability insurance?
Yes.
My client has no development facilities. Do you?
Yes. My home office is fully equipped with several servers and PCs, a high
speed connection and development software including VS.Net Enterprise.
